Keith L. Mullowney
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Keith L. Mullowney joined Clarity in 2005 as the Company’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Mullowney has over thirty-five years of medical device industry experience in sales, marketing and general management in both large company and start-up organizations. This includes positions at American Hospital Supply, Pfizer and Hexcel Corporation. Prior to joining Clarity, Mr. Mullowney was the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermage, an aesthetic device company. Prior to joining Thermage, Mr. Mullowney was Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Synavasive Technology, Inc., a specialty orthopedic surgical device company. Mr. Mullowney received a B.A. in Economics with honors from Lake Forest College.
Mike D. Napier
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mike D. Napier joined Clarity in 2002 as Chief Business Officer and became Clarity’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2005. Mr. Napier has over thirty years of life science sales, marketing, business and finance experience. Prior to Clarity, Mr. Napier was founding President of GeoMed, a biopharmaceutical start-up. Mr. Napier was a Regional Sales Director and Group Product Director, New Products at Syntex Laboratories. Mr. Napier received a B.S. and M.B.A. from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
Barry J. Linder, M.D., M.S.
Chief Medical Officer
Barry J. Linder is an experienced healthcare executive as well as a board-certified ophthalmologist and a specialist in medical informatics. Dr. Linder practiced for 9 years at The Permanente Medical Group, during which time he helped pioneer efforts in telemedicine. Dr. Linder later served as a senior consultant at Kaiser Permanente's Care Management Institute and Kaiser Permanente International, where he led efforts to develop the first national website for Permanente physicians and as Director of a joint venture in Southeast Asia. After holding senior executive positions in marketing and strategic planning at Promedix, SpecialtyMD, and at Ventro Corp., Dr. Linder served as CEO of orthopedics start-ups ConforMIS and Imaging Therapeutics before joining Clarity.
William L. Shea
Vice President, Research and Development
Bill Shea has worked in medical technology research and development for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Clarity, he worked in multiple engineering roles at hospital products specialist Nellcor, most recently as manager, hardware group, monitoring systems.
